Terms of Service

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern rental services, deliveries, pickups, and related services provided by Junk Plus in Connecticut. By requesting a quote, booking service, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Area and Eligibility

Services are offered only in approved service areas. You confirm you are at least 18 years old and authorized to place the order and designate placement location.

3. Quotes, Booking, and Payment

  • Quotes are estimates and may change based on actual material type, weight, rental duration, travel, permitting, or access conditions.
  • Final pricing is provided in your booking confirmation.
  • Payment is due as stated on your invoice and may be required in advance.
  • Unpaid balances may result in collection activity and service refusal.

4. Acceptable and Prohibited Materials

You are responsible for all contents loaded into the dumpster. Hazardous, regulated, or otherwise prohibited materials are not allowed unless explicitly approved in writing.

  • Examples of prohibited materials include hazardous waste, liquids, paint, chemicals, asbestos, tires, batteries, propane tanks, and medical waste.
  • If prohibited materials are found, additional handling, disposal, and administrative fees may apply.
  • Junk Plus may refuse pickup until prohibited materials are removed.

5. Weight Limits and Overage Charges

Each rental includes a stated weight allowance. Loads over the allowance are billed at current overage rates plus any landfill or transfer station surcharges.

6. Placement, Access, and Site Conditions

  • You must provide safe, legal, and accessible placement conditions at delivery and pickup times.
  • You are responsible for overhead clearance, underground utilities, private property restrictions, and gate/access permissions.
  • Junk Plus may decline or relocate placement for safety or legal reasons.
  • Driveway protection may reduce, but cannot eliminate, risk of cosmetic or structural surface impacts.

7. Permits and Local Compliance

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all permits, approvals, and permissions required by your municipality, HOA, property owner, or state/local authority unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Rental Period, Extension, and Pickup

  • Rental periods and extension rates are defined in your booking confirmation.
  • Additional daily/weekly charges may apply beyond the included rental term.
  • Pickup scheduling depends on access, weather, and route capacity.

9. Loading and Safety Rules

  • Do not fill above the top rail; debris must be safely contained for transport.
  • Distribute weight evenly and avoid overloading one end.
  • Do not move, tow, or alter the dumpster.
  • Customer is responsible for securing the site and supervising loading safety.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling fees may apply, especially for same-day changes, dispatch completion, wasted trips, blocked access, or weather/event disruptions outside company control.

11. Risk, Indemnification, and Liability Limits

  • You assume responsibility for dumpster use and site conditions while equipment is on your property or designated location.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold Junk Plus harmless from third-party claims related to your use, loading, permits, or site conditions.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Junk Plus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Total liability for any claim is limited to amounts paid for the specific rental service giving rise to the claim.

12. Delays and Force Majeure

Junk Plus is not responsible for delays or nonperformance caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, road restrictions, labor disruptions, acts of government, equipment failure, or landfill closures.

13. Website and Communications

  • Website content is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.
  • By submitting contact forms or calling/texting, you consent to service-related communications.
  • Standard carrier messaging/data rates may apply.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These terms are governed by Connecticut law. Any dispute shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Connecticut, unless otherwise required by law.

15. Changes to Terms

Junk Plus may update these terms from time to time. The most current version is posted on this page with an updated effective date.
